The goal of this project was to create a music video for my video editing class at Tidewater Community College. I chose the song "Past Life" by the artist Hammy and found an actor to portray him. It was shot in Virginia Beach at three locations in about 4 hours. It was difficult to shoot because the actor didn't know any of the lyrics. I learned from that and now have a new process of shooting. I was able to have enough quick cuts in the edit to kind of hide it. I wanted the edit to give a dark and sad feeling so I altered the colors and added VHS static to give it a distorted style. Enjoy.
